Our client are pioneers in Rubber/Lycra Thread covering machines with almost 90% of the elastic narrow fabric industry using their machines. They have largest range of TFO Twisters, Covering machines, Winders etc. manufactured in the country. They are into this industry since more than 4 decades.

Bottlenecks :

Creating Second line leaders in a manufacturing setup is always a need of an hour and to create leaders which are independent and accountable is challenging at the same time. If a manufacturer want their business to scale up then they would need to, set up a second line of leadership and have more time to work “ON” the business.

Attaining acceptable delivery performance is the most significant manufacturing challenge faced by many organizations. Manufacturing Resource Planning systems often do not provide hoped-for delivery performance improvements when implemented without considering other delivery performance factors.

As the creation of products and services has become more extensive and varied, the manufacturing industry has become more competitive. There are many things to keep an eye on such as material requirements planning, supply chain management and inventory control. Operations continue to become more complex, and this means manufacturing companies require more thorough production planning.

Results Achieved :

After analyzing root cause of the problems we worked with management to Build a complimentary team and make sure that they share our vision and become a effective resource for the organization in long run. We define roles for them and delegate effectively , Identified Key Results Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area. Begin to monitor and measure them. Create benchmarks about what good performance looks like. Have a weekly meeting where these numbers are reviewed and action plans to move them forward are committed to.

We’ve found that companies suffering from poor delivery performance usually have problems in six areas which are Production capacity ,Production control, Productivity, Procurement Process Robustness, product delivery responsibilities . To resolve this we made sure that comprehensive system that integrated to manufacturing process that includes information on each product’s bill of material, the manufacturing process, inventory levels, purchased parts’ lead times, setup and run times for each operation, and other information relevant to the manufacturing process by that reducing paper work and getting on run delivery with everything flowing from top to bottom through integrated ERP.

We made sure while working with management that there is correct capacity planning and Planner to take proper responsibility of managing resources and deciding how they will be allocated. Making continuous effort to ensure resources are used appropriately, products and services are high-quality and nothing goes over budget.
